Ask Alaska

Hello! I’m Aunt Alaska. This is the column where you ask questions and I will answer them. I am Aunt Arctic’s sister. As you may know Aunt Arctic writes for the Penguin Times. Unlike the Penguin Times, I will answer ALL questions! Aunt Arctic and I are not originally from Clubpenguin. We were actually born on a far away island called A Wish. We both grew up there until we were 14. Then everyone on the island started disappearing until finally we were the only two penguins left on the entire island. We had no idea where everyone had gone. Our parents died when we were 3 years old. So we were orphans. Did I mention we are twins? Well we were abandoned on the island with no food and no company. We had no way to leave and we didn’t know how to build a boat yet. One day when we were walking around the island trying to find a scrap of food, we stumbled across a trap door. We opened it and saw that it was an old cellar, so we went in it. We found some canned peaches and ate some and took the rest for later. we were about to leave when we found a piece of paper. It was instructions on how to build a raft.  Excitedly, we ran back to our campsite and got started right away. By the end of the day we had a raft. We were leaving first thing in the morning. The next day we awoke to the smell of smoke. The entire island was on fire. We quickly grabbed all that we could. But all we could grab was a can a peaches. We jumped on our raft and got away quickly. Unfortunately we didn’t grab our world map, so we had no idea where we were going. We traveled for days. After a while we ran out of the peaches and began to starve. One day we woke up on the raft to find we had washed up on an island. We got up. This was a MUCH bigger island. Around us was a crowd of penguins. They were all wide eyed and speechless. for a moment it was quiet. Then a penguin named bambadee came up to us and asked us if we were alright. “No” we both said at the same time. “Were starving and we are lost.”  “Oh well this is Club Penguin Island ” said bambadee. ” Follow me and i will get you some food.” He took us to a igloo and gave us fish to eat. ” Thank you for your kindness!” we said  Later on we got our own igloos. One day when we were exploring the new island, a penguin in a suite and tie came up to us. Now for some reason ( even though we were twins) Arctic has always been more popular than me. We had almost all the same interests, especially writing. Well this penguin asked Arctic if she would talk to him in private. With out a glance towards me she said yes and left me standing there alone. Later on we found each other again. She told me her good news. ( bad news to me)  The penguin offered her a job for the news paper. She told me she excepted it of course and that she was now called Aunt Arctic. She told me that with the job she got a free membership and got to move into a bigger (better) igloo. We were neighbours, but now she was moving to the other side of the island.  I stood there dumbfounded. “B-B-But we will hardly ever get to see each-other!” Oh don’t be silly! We will see each-other plenty!” she said. when she moved out i hadnt  seen or spoken to her for a month. One day I missed her so much I couldn’t handle it, so I decided to pay her a visit. Big mistake. I walked into her huge and crowded igloo.  She looked at me confused. “Who are you?” She said. That made me really mad. “Its me! Your sister! Duh!”I yelled at her. ” Oh  sorry. Don’t have a cow! Geese!” she said as she rolled her eyes at me. “What happened to you?” I asked. “You used to be the kindest person. Now your nothing but a a a ego-maniac!” “Liar!” she said. “Yes. You Are” With that i walked out the door. We haven’t spoken since. A couple months later I was eating at the newest restaurant the Pizza Parlor, when a penguin walked up to me. “Hello” she said. “Hi” I responded. “Can I sit down?” she asked while pointing t the empty chair in front of me. “Sure” I said. So she sat down and here is how our conversation went: “So whats your name?” “Alaska. And yours?” “Joey” “That’s an odd name for a girl.” Yeah Yeah Yeah. I know. but I don’t care.” “Oh.”  “So your Aunt Arctics sister, right?” “sadly yes” “Sadly? Why?” I told her the story of me and my sister. We became the best of friends. Now we own this blog together. Now instead of Alaska. I am now Aunt Alaska. (thanks to Joey) The Blog is sort of like the Penguin Times, but better. ( or at least I think)  So enjoy!    🙂
